Tesla Semi recalls
This is a partial list of verified campaigns. NHTSA's API indexes the two 2023 Semi campaigns under model year 2022; the campaign filings identify affected trucks as model year 2023. Queries for 2023-2026 were unavailable when checked on October 15, 2026. Check a truck's VIN with NHTSA or Tesla for its current recall status.
These records cover 2 recall campaigns reported since 2023 that include the Semi. 1 of them was remedied with an over-the-air software update, which installs on its own and needs no visit to a service center; the rest needed a repair or inspection, free of charge, at Tesla service.
A campaign usually covers only part of production, so a recall listed here may not apply to a particular car. To check a specific car, enter its VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls or look under Service in the Tesla app. Many campaigns also name other Tesla models, because the same part or software runs across the lineup.

Jun 2023 STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR OTA fix
Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2023 Semi vehicles. The door open warning indicator only displays when the vehicle's parking brake is not engaged and the side door is not fully latched. In addition, the door closure warning system allows the operator to dismiss the notification that the side door is unlatched, which could result in driving with an unsecured door. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."
