These records cover 35 recall campaigns reported since 2020 that include the Model Y. 19 of them were remedied with an over-the-air software update, which installs on its own and needs no visit to a service center; the rest needed a repair or inspection, free of charge, at Tesla service.

In addition, the system may respond insufficiently to changes in posted speed limits or not adequately account for the driver's adjustment of the vehicle's speed to exceed posted speed limits.
